Posted December 28, 2007 - By Frank Meyer

Amazon announced this week they are now offering Warner Bros. music on their Amazon MP3 music download service…free of DRM!

Yup, users can now get access to major artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Madonna and Metallica via Amazon’s DRM free catalog, which they boast is the biggest offering of its kind on the internet and is compatible with almost any portable media player capable of playing MP3 files.

“But what about iTunes, jerkholes?!? Don’t they have the biggest digi-music catalog on the ‘net?”

Well, sure, the Apple digital media store is big and iTunetastic, no doubt, but the majority of the content is DRMed….and therefore LAME
