On December 18th, the unrated version of Rob Zombie’s Halloween comes out on DVD, complete with ten minutes of added footage. More gore? More boobs? Nope, more…um…character development.
Zombie recently noted he is not planning on making any additional Halloween flicks, saying he’ll end his Michael Myers saga where the original 1978 version should have, after the first installment. “One is all I need,” said Zombie to Rolling Stone.
Zombie also squashed rumors of a C.H.U.D. remake, instead saying he’s prefer to make a full-length version of his Grindhouse trailer Werewolf Women of the S.S. or a western.
Meanwhile, the ever-busy rocker just finished the score for The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, an animated film based on a comic he penned, and is writing songs for his next album.
Catch Zombie on tour with Ozzy Osbourne across the U.S. this winter in what is surely a bloody heavy way to spend a holiday eve!
