New 'Borat' Lawsuit Tale

Posted December 5, 2007 - By Mike D'Alonzo

Unwitting cast members suing Borat filmmakers is so last year. However, one of the film's "stars" has decided that now is the time to bring a lawsuit. Michael Psenicska, who you will remember as the friendly driving instructor from the film, is suing the studio and the filmmakers for $400,000 worth of actual and punitive damages, based on the "pain and suffering" he's endured as a result of being in the film.

Psenicska claims he was duped into thinking that the film was a documentary about a foreigner assimilating into American life, and that he was taken advantage of. The producers, in the meantime, claim that he knew what was what the whole time, and was paid in addition to signing a release.

Our bet? He receives nothing.
