We here at G4 love all that is Wu Tang. TheFeed loves to write about Wu Tang Clan news, and Freestyle 101 is thrilled anytime we can get a Wu related artist on the show. So image our excitement when we scored a session with Trife da God of Ghostface Killah’s Theodore Unit crew. Plus, we’re airing it the day Ghostface’s new album, The Big Doe Rehab, is released, which features Trife on several cuts, and a week before Wu Tang's 8 Diagrams hits stores.
Known for his blazing verses alongside the likes of Saigon, Bone Crusher, Raekwon, Cappadonna, Nate Dogg and Termanology, Trife is knows for bringing heat to the booth with his razor sharp lyrics and deadly punchlines. While on tour with Ghostface and Rakim, Trife Diesel was kind enough to stop by the Engine Room in Hollywood to bang out a tasty freestyle over a funky Messiaz beat and chat about the pressure of rockin’ the mic. He even through in references to Transformers, Blades of Glory, Karate Kid, and He-Man for all y'all movie buffs.
