TheFeed only buys calendars of women holding tools, because if you need to know what day it is, why not be informed by a bim with a crescent wrench? But this year, we're thinking of buying an MMO calendar.
Thankfully, MMO Portal's 2008 MMO Calendar does not feature Dark Age of Camelot players in swimsuits. Instead, each month will bring delighted calendar-owners a different piece of original artwork from an MMO. And all proceeds benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, so it's for a good cause too.
Here's a list of some of the games represented:
- Age of Conan
- Dark Age of Camelot
- Dungeons & Dragons Online
- Eve Online
- EverQuest
- EverQuest II
- Guild Wars
- Lord of the Rings Online
- Pirates of the Burning Sea
- Star Wars Galaxies
- Stargate Worlds
- Warhammer Online
- World of Warcraft
But that's not all. Everyone who buys the calendar also buys a chance to receive some sweet MMO-related prizes like Beta Keys for Warhammer Online and Stargate Worlds, and free month-passes to EverQuest 2 and Lord of the Rings Online.
