Simon Fuller, creator of both American Idol and the Spice Girls, is apparently in talks with Google to develop a joint venture that could "change the way TV is watched over the internet."
The dream-team-up leads some to speculate that Google's plans to take over the big dogs of the TV market by creating original content.
'It's a big idea on a global scale,' Fuller said. 'It will change television in much the way iTunes changed the way music is disseminated.'"
Can I speak for the internet hear for a second and say, "Please, don't."
Seriously, Weren't American Idol and The Spice Girls punishment enough?
