Wal-Mart Warns Black Friday Ad Sites

Posted October 23, 2007 - By Brian Leahy

Sites like BFAds.net and BlackFridayAds.com are great for finding the best deals on Black Friday, but you might not be seeing Wal-Mart ads up until the last minute.

Wal-Mart has threatened these sites and others like it with legal action if their ads are posted before November 19th.

Wal-Mart wants to prevent other retailers from learning of their deals early and changing their own sales to try and undercut Wal-Mart.

Come on, Wal-Mart. Are you really scared that so many people are going to not shop at your billions of locations because Best Buy has a $10 premium on you? Damn greedy fat-cats.
