Judging from the trailers and screenshots, we think combat/cooperation simulator Army of Two will be an awesome game*, but it looks like we'll have to wait a bit to find out. The game has been delayed until 2008.
EA says they need more time to polish the game, which probably isn't a good sign, but dammit, we want to believe.
"Army of Two has potential to become a lasting EA franchise -- so getting the first title right is essential," Frank Gibeau, head of EA Games, said in a statement.
* We know a lot of people saw the trailer and said "not good," but we were more like, "kinda good." Check out the preview below and let us know what you think. We think it has potential.

I'm looking forward to this game! November is just kamikaze month for games. I'm glad the list has shortened so I spend less money! LOL
Except apparently Sessler.
And to take his point and run with it. Perhaps EA Montreal agreed that it was a crowded month of November and delaying it might not only make the game better, but it might actually get the spotlight it deserves.
You hear me game developers!?! I want more freaking co-op!!!
Between GTA and AOT I'll be able to save some money until next year.
Now if only Assassin's Creed were to be pushed back to December I'd be in really good shape.
What better game to play with your best bud, this game looks awesome and I can't wait until it comes out. And from the trailers I've seen on youtube the banter between the two main characters is just like my best bud and I! Hopefully it will have online ability now that my best bud is going to be stationed over in Germany!
been delayed to 2 thousand 8
