Will Ferrell will star in a big-screen adaptation of Land of the Lost, which will be his last pre-strike project. Brad Silberling, who directed Lemony Snicket, will be the director on this project as well. The budget has been slashed from $125 million down to a paltry $100 million. We wonder whether or not they will have to shoot in black and white or without any effects for that small, small sum of money.
If you're not familiar with Land of the Lost, it's the story of a family (Marshall, Will and Holly) who, during a routine expedition, found the greatest adventure of them all. Before you know it, they're down a big waterfall, and into the Land of the Lost, where they encounter a friend named Chaka and a group of angry, lizard-like Sleestaks. Oh, and dinosaurs. It's awesome.
Here. This'll help.
