You'd think a videogame in which a couple of buddies like Kane and Lynch: Dead Men would allow every kind of cooperative play, but sadly, there will be no co-op online gaming. You'll have to get together with your friend in the same physical space to play the game together.
"It's a matter of focus, choosing what you want to deliver at what time," said Eidos' Jens Peter Kurup "We looked at it and decided it was too much of a risk to change our code to be very very good at that, and we're not going to be very very good at other elements. I'll miss the online co-op, but not terribly. "
But don't fret, future Kane & Lynch player. The online competitive mode, featuring a team bank robbery with the all-but-assured back biting and betrayal, is different, innovative, and, from what we've heard, very, very fun.
It comes out for the 360, PS3 and PC on November 13th.
