Fox has made a series committment for a new drama from J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions and Warner Brothers for a show called Fringe, which is said to be a cross between The X Files and Twilight Zone. The show is said to be a thriller with a generous dollop of comedy. This means that it will most likely most resemble Friday the 13th, The Series, which was really pretty good.

Of course, it is a thriller, and it will be on Fox, so the odds of it being any good are what you might call long. Oh, and Fox also made a deal to stream the show for Season 1, so you'll be able to watch it on the new-fangled internet system. Won't that be a hoot?
