Since 1978, there have been countless attempts to shove balls, bumpers and flippers into a videogame and call it pinball, but few have captured the visceral experience. Crave Entertainment is looking to do it some justice with Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection.
Eight classic Williams tables are lovingly and painstakingly recreated, including the original sounds and reportedly accurate ball physics. Crave tried this a couple of years ago with their original Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection, scoring good marks for nostalgia and fun but the physics didn't quite measure up. They'll get another chance to hit the mark with this latest release, and the relatively low price-point won't hurt either.
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection is expected to be released later this year for the Sony PSP and early 2008 for the PS2 and Wii versions. Check our video preview below and get ready to pull your plungers.
