Well, we’ve all just been punked!
So not only has the ending of Halo 3 been leaked, but now the whole dang game has hit the net courtesy of software pirates.
Yes, a DVD of Halo 3 data has been uploaded for illegal downloading less than a week before the highly anticipated game hits shelves.
Sure, this happens all the time. In fact, Halo 2 was pirated about a month before its 2004 release, but it still feels like a kick in the nuts, doesn’t it?
But don’t go searching for that illegal version quite yet, kiddies. Remember, there’s a hefty $250,000 fine and/or a prison sentence of up to five years for criminal conviction of software piracy. And I’m pretty sure videogame pirates are used like washcloths in prison among the inmates.
It also takes a modded 360 to play illegal game copies, and playing illegal game copies on a modded 360 will likely result in Microsoft banning you from Xbox Live. So there ya go.
