According a "source" within the Microsoft compound, a new batch of Zunes will be released on October 16 in time for the holidays. And have no fear, Zune 2, Draco, Scorpio and their merry friends will come in both flash memory and hard drive-based forms.
The smaller, flash Zune (a.k.a. Draco) will be issued in pink, red, black and army green and will have a 4GB or 8GB capacity. It will also feature a "squircle" feature for navigation that can be pushed from any side.
The hard drive-based player (a.k.a. Scorpio) will be available in 80GB, also with a squircle, and a screen the source claims is "awesome" for video.
I had a dream once where two guys named Draco and Scorpio came and cut my head off, inserted a microchip into my brain, sewed my head back on, and then turned me into a robot assassin….but that’s just me…I’m a Capricorn.
