How, again, are we being "suckered" into buying? I like buying Mountain Dew quite often. So what difference does it make if I buy a Halo-edition MD?
Plus, I LOVE how think it's suckering JUST because it's Halo but when it's any other franchise (cough PS3 cough), it's perfectly fine.

when was the last time that ANYONE pressed a game this hard? a drink, a controller, a museum tour, a car, and a new piece of hardware that is Halo themed? yes, suckers indeed.

That's EXACTLY why people find Halo 3 advert.s so offensive: because it never happened to a video game. Again, it's COMPLETELY fine for it to happen to movies, but because a video game is new to it, people feel uncomfortable. Sony tried to press Spiderman 3 on you people and you accepted it gleefully. Why? Because you're used to it. But, when MS tries to push Halo 3, it's suddenly a crime on freedom of thought. Why? Because you are NOT used to it. Get real people, it shows that the industry is EVOLVING! It's no longer a niche market. It's expanding and becoming better. So get used to it. It's not going to get worse than what people do for movies. So stop exaggerating and thinking that a company is going to control your thoughts. It's pathetic and embarrassing.
Plus, if your dull-witted enough to rush out and buy these things when you don't need them, then you're just a retard in general. I want these things, but because I NEED them.
Also, is it true that MS is trying to exploit our desire for Halo 3? Yes. But I don't see why people object to this when HUNDREDS of companies have exploited your desire in the past for whatever thing it was.
Also, you have to remember that people ALWAYS have the ability to decide. The truly smart people are the ones who have the brains to realize if a product is worth buying. A sucker is somebody who rushes out and impulsively buys these things. But if you apply logic, then you aren't being manipulated. And the latter vastly outshines the former.
