Guitar Hero III will be coming to the Mac and PC sometime this Fall. This means that all of those basement dwellers who don't own a next-gen, or even a last-gen console will finally be able to fancy themselves rockstars and plug into the Guitar Hero phenomenon. The games will be developed by Aspyr, and are rumored to be rocking some new content, such as customizable tracks, but none of that is confirmed.
What is confirmed is that you're going to be able to plug in your git-fiddle to the laptop of your choice, and get down on some Dragonforce...or Rage Against the Machine...or even in the style of Kiss! Prepare to shred, those who once thought gaming was less important than taxes...your time is now!
