Xbox ChatPad: The Un-wrappening

We got our hands on an Xbox Chatpad a few days before the commercial release on Tuesday, and we wanted to share some photos and thoughts with you. Nice of us, eh?

Here is the mini-keyboard in all it's boxed up glory:

We tore the cover off:

Then noticed this: It's a new mute button for the 360 headset.

And then we checked out the keyboard... Here's how your controllers mate:

Two have become one in a glorious union of souls and bodies:

Full "Qwerty" style... Nice.

it snaps right on to your controller and basically does exactly what you'd expect. Also, although you can't see this in the picture, the keys emit a little bit of light, for in-the-dark playing.

We admit it looks a little awkward, but it's surprisingly easy to get used to.

The final test is the most important...how does it work for sending horrible threats and messages to my online "friends?"
