FIFA Goes 10 Player Online

Posted August 22, 2007 - By Mike D'Alonzo

When FIFA 08 launches in September (October 9th in America), there will be a new cooperative feature that will allow five people to play cooperatively on a team versus another five people (along with five AI players per side) in what will be the largest cooperative sports game to date.

The special mode will presumably be released online six to eight weeks after the initial release of the game, which is good, because it will give people time to learn how to play before they jump into competition. Of course, since soccer isn't all that popular, we don't figure people will know the rules of the game well enough to play, but they'll muddle through.
