MTV has gotten wise to the world of videogames. How wise? How about $500 million worth. The music television company will be spending half a billion dollars over the next two years to expand their gaming services, including the expansion of GameTrailers, the online videogame aggregator.
MTV will also be dumping large loads of cash into their niche television networks, to get them involved in gaming, including Nickelodeon and, we kid you not, CMT. We're not exactly sure what games you will be able to watch on Country Music Television, but that's why we're not MTV executives.
