The ease of hacking Google's free mail program 'Gmail' was readily displayed at a black hat security convention in Las Vegas Thursday.
Errata Security CEO Robert Graham quickly and easily hacked into multiple attendee gmail accounts, suprising what TheFeed can only presume were relatively security-minded convention goers. He did it by sniffing data packets on the convention's open wifi network, grabbing users' cookies and spoofing their IP.
This same hack will work just as well on Yahoo! Mail and Microsoft's Hotmail.
Consider our paranoia of using free and open wifi networks completely justified. Thanks jerks.
