We were psyched when we heard they made a videogame called Deliverance! We imagined a squad-based white water rafting game and a final boss battle between Ned Beatty and some hillbillies! Sweet.
But it turns out Deliverance is a game based on Moses. He was cool and all, but he's no Jon Voight, knowwhutImean?
Anyway, Deliverance: Moses in the Pharaoh's Courts is from West Creek Studios and offers gamers the chance to deliver the Jews from Egypt, which is braggable.
"We wanted to make a faith-based video game with a graphic-rich storyline and action-packed game play that would challenge players," said Don Triezenberg, president of West Creek Studios. "We managed to accomplish just that, and keep the game appropriate for the whole family."
Please visit the game's website. It helpfully points out that, because this is a PC game, "Deliverance runs on your Computer"
