So yesterday TheFeed helped you open your NAT for Xbox Live, but you have a PS3... well today we're going to tell you how to open up your NAT for the PlayStation Network so you can frag in Resistance and race in MotorStorm with as many people as possible.
Not configuring your router's NAT to be "open" can lead to lag, hosting problems, failed connections, and getting disconnected from games.
Click through for details on how to get the most out of your PSN connection
To open your NAT for the PSN, you'll use the same steps as the Xbox guide, but replace the port numbers with these:
TCP: 80, 443, 5223
UDP: 3478, 3479, 3658
Instead of selecting "Both" on your router for each port, just put the one specified. If you aren't going to setup a lot of port forwarding, for the UDP ports, you can just forward the range 3478 - 3658.
TheFeed will be watching the comments to clarify any problems you might have with this so let us know if it's successful or not.
