We've clicked on too many unfortunate videos to be happy about anything called "My Horse and Me," but we're making an exception for Atari's My Horse and Me videogame. Hyped as "the complete horseback riding and equestrian lifestyle video game experience" the game will be coming to PC, Wii and Nintendo DS.
Licensed by the International Equestrian Federation, My Horse and Me allows players to ride, groom and otherwise enjoy their horse friends.
"We are looking forward to providing the horse-enthusiast community with a rich and authentic game that allows gamers to take care of and compete in a variety of challenges with their horse." said Emily Anadu, Senior Product Manager, Atari Inc. "The game's distinctive and charming depiction of these noble animals is sure to win the hearts of horse devotees."
Whether gamers will have the option of grinding broken-legged mares into dog food remains to be confirmed, but we can hope, eh?
It comes out this fall.
