The latest issue of game mag Famitsu reports that Capcom's producer Jun Takeuchi said Resident Evil 5 will not be making a 2008 release. He also said that a 2010 release for the scary PS3 and 360 game would be too late. We used our awesome power of deduction to zero in on the year 2009.
By that time, we should have flying cars, rocket packs and that Back to the Future 2 hoverboard to enjoy, so maybe we won't want to play videogames. Did you ever think of that, Jun Takeuchi?!

Luna_Saisho the FF series is wayyyyy better than resident evil, and most would agree the franchise is the best in rpgs.
And by the way, it's not just popular because of the graphics, but for the story aswell.
No, it means is too hard for developers to work on the PS3.

you should play FF12. its a great game and i think it puts FF10 to shame. FF7 is still my favorite, but 12 is pretty close. plus, i need to disagree with some. FF is what it is today because of stroyline. its not like grachics were fantastic back then you know. if yu want the really good FF games then play 7, 8 and 12 (maybe 10).

I think this will be beat out by silent hill 5, which I think is a more scary game franchise even though alot of people dont know what the hell is going on most of the time, I think the silent hill series is far more scarier than Resident evil games dont get me wrong I am a fan of both but silent hill scares the crap out of me more than killing zombies. I think silent hill was a step up from resident evil for me, I regret the day I bought silent hill 4, it had a better movie too atleast they stuck to the story more than RE.
o but i do agree with you that silent hill games are scarrier, those games scare the shit out of me. while resident evil games just have a jumpy part or two. but the gameplay is pretty close between the two
I believe there was more in the plot to silent hill than in resident evil, in silent hill the only real major change was the lead character being a woman which made more sense to me, I never played the first silent hill but saw enough of the gameplay and story to see a lot of similarities I loved the first one it was more of a thinking movie than resident evil, the story had alot to deal with purgatory and the negative energies inside the town and revenge but if all of that wasnt your cup of tea I understand. I liked both movies just the same even though silent hill scared me more.
