Kotaku is reporting that some target stores are breaking the July 12th street date, selling 60 gig PlayStation 3 units for the new low price of $499.
Stores in Bend, Oregon and Beavercreek, Ohio are getting the jump on this new cheaper price. Kotaku made calls to locations in Los Angeles and West Hollywood, CA, Dayton, OH, Orlando, FL, and Littleton, CO - all were still selling Sony's magic box at the old $599 price.
When and if this cheaper price hits your town, will you take the dive? With all of the new games coming out this year, it may be time for the haters and the hold-offs to give it a long, hard look.
