
Sharp will release their first Blu-Ray player this fall, which will feature something they are calling "Quick Start", which they claim will start the disc in seconds.
The BD-HP20S will have HDMI v1.3 that will output in 1080p at 24fps as well as Dolby TrueHD sound support. The deck will probably sell for over $500 when it drops. At that point you might as well get a PlayStation 3, unless you really want your movies to start quickly.
