We know you're excited about E3 next week. Heck, the G4 Complex is chockablock with plans to bring hours and hours of coverage of this unique event. We did manage to find a little time, however, to sit down with the hosts of our E3 coverage and talk to them about what their expectations of the event were, so you could get a little preview of sorts.

Call it Pre-3. We did.

The Line ups for all 3 systems look great.... Warhawk Look really nice so did the other games....

I'm really excited for e3. I want to see what awesome titles that game developers have created for these new systems.... wii and ps3 in paticular

I'd rather call it Min-E3. Good interview, it's nice to see something that doesn't sound totally scripted/rehearsed and a little more candid.

I never played rac is it fun the only thing I wanna see at E3 is killzone and Sony probally won't show to a public audience it just to piss me off .

I love Adam. The only person on g4 that makes sense when it comes to gaming. I couldn't agree more with him. Awesome interview!! I'd have no reason to watch g4 if it wasn't for him. g4 needs to die and techtv needs to come back....dam g4...

I'm really excited for this game. I can't wait, but I'm going to be at a retreat after the first day, so I won't get to see the last two and I'll have to wait until I get to find out what happened. I'm going to get to see the Sony Conference, so I'm looking forward to that. Can't wait for E3.

I love vids of interviews with Adam, its very interesting to see what he has to say about videogames. I love when they have Adam on gamebreak and the loop on AOTS, Kevin and Adam are the only people interesting enough to sit down, and have a serious gaming conversation IMO, since I only care about their opinion.

I don't know, Kevin seems kinda like a douchebag (I hope he reads this XD).

But Adam, on the other hand, is the kind of guy that cuts to the chase. He makes his point and addresses it well.

freeway8989, in a way, he kinda is, but (to me) when you put Adam and Kevin together, they have some very interesting mini-conversations about the game/topic they're supposed to talk about, like in some of the recent gamebreaks

I don't like Kevin because he talks about all this stuff and makes me feel like a hobo because i don't have it (iPhone in particular) Adam is a more livelier and I can relate to him more as oppose to Kevin the rich little prep

This E3 will SUCK. It's all about E3 allowing the game industry the ability to tightly control the media by spoon-feeding them exactly what they want these media channels to publish.

Screw "E for All". The moron, frickin’ paid-off beeyatch CEO of E3 says "It will be an opportunity for average gamers to play September/October game releases, before the general public.".

You really are as stupid as you look. Seriously. How about Halo 3 for example… most of us have played it! .. and the rest of us have already seen enough screenshots and video to satisfy us till the release.

Are you that stupid? Have you ever heard of game demos? By the time your freekin' sad excuse for a gamers convention rolls around, we'll all have already PLAYED, VIEWED, REVIEWED and SEEN these Fall releases.

If I want to wait for an 11 year old kid to stop playing a game so I can give it a shot, I'll go stand at my local Gamestop. no thanks.

Of course the big 3 will reserve "some" breaking news for E3, that's a given.... however, these games can be announced, and footage shown WITHOUT this "new" E3. It's not even needed.

In my opinion, the spectacle that WAS E3 (like last year) was a shot in the arm for the game industry. It created hype and excitement through MANY different web sites, not just these larger gamer sites. It was loud, colorful and exciting.

Now it's just a bunch of hotel rooms with screen shots.

Yes, this year's E3 is going to SUCK.

Actually, the only difference between this E3 and the ones in the past is that the public isn't allowed.

Though it's a bad thing for the public, it's also a good thing.

When you're a company exec, announcing anything directly to the public can be risky since it can easily be reciprocated with anger. So what happened last E3 was that execs removed all of the controversial news from their stories and told all the "good news." Everything else was divulged in the private "E3 inside E3" that Sessler was talking about here. At least this time, execs won't be afraid to spill their guts.

Plus, a public E3 is unmanageable since there's WAY too many people. At least this time reporters will have the room to report on ALL of the stories, as oppoesed to being forced to report only what they can.

he talks about halo3 like it's going to be the best game ever made and nothing will ever be able to compete with it..If no developer can make shooters as good or better than it then why the hell do they put time/money into something that's "expected" to fall short of the same one game(halo)? isnt that what the future is for? To improve and make better based on what exists?

I like hearing what Adam likes to say for the most part, much more so than the majority of the g4 hosts, but I can't agree with him this time with that statement. It basically brands everything else below this unattainable standard. Have some faith, man.

If you are usually able to GET INTO events like this because you live in the area or can affrod the travelling involved, I can see why you'd be disappointed. But you are NOT the rest of the world that waits for this event. Being able to provide better and more thorough coverage should be what everyone who wathes this event from home should want.
After all, the vast majority of ppl there at previous E3 events weren't sharing everything they experienced to the world now were they? They weren't ALL reporting the event. I dont understand how more of a good thing can be bad when it comes to this event.

Well if you folks watch morgan's interview, she explains why this one is going to be a private event. And on another note, didnt E3 used to be a media only event anyway?
And as for Halo 3, I dont think he means it will be the best game ever, I just think he is saying that it is a large franchise that will hog a lot of the spotlight, much like starwars may not be the best movie ever created, but it is deffinately in almost everyones video collection and a well known name. I am verry interested to see games like Mass Effect, Too Human, Blue Dragon, Army of Two etc.
And as far as adam goes, yes, i agree that he is pretty much one of the only hosts on g4 that is really believable, and the whole thing with him and kevin, most of the time on those segments such as the loop, he has questions prepared, this is part of being a good tv personality, to act interested in the person you are interviewing, even if your not.

I like that Adam and Morgan are both really excited for the PS3, which proves that they're level headed. Also, it's nice to hear that people are finally catching on that Zelda has been the only game with any substance so far, and it wasn't even originally for the system.

Adam is awesome. It's cool to hear a real interview, not just a thirty-second response to a question.
Halo 3 will pwn all games. The PS3 sucks thus far, and what's with all the Killzone 2 hype. The first one sucked, and the trailer for it was obviously prerendered. As for the Wii, I've had fun with Super PM, but we do need a good new title for the console. The Wii's internet feature is awesome, something no other console has.

Finally someone else talks about the Wii games average graphics. My sisters trying to urge me to buy one but with how the graphics are and the fact that the power of the console is really weak I'm afraid the third party devolopers will just roll out some bad games to try and get some of the cut from Nintendo's pie. Worse yet is if what happened to the gamecube happens to the Wii. I saw the same Gamecube games from the very beginning on the shelves until they stopped making it.

I agree with HiddenBlaze, the Wii just doesn't have the horse power to impress me and it seems like Nintendo is heading down the same road as with the Cube, no impressive 3rd party games and just relying on the same old stuff.

yeah this e3 wasnt so great, i missed all the ppl and screaming and hot asian chicks, that was fliping awsome, plus when u watched u could just see the stuff in the background off of the plasmas and get u excited only for them to say nothing about it. i luved dat
