How about a Monday morning, console flame war?
Today's bait is brought to you by Ted Price, Insomniac Games CEO, who, in an interview with GameDaily BIZ, said, "The PS3 has become the whipping boy for the press, quite honestly. I think everyone just wants to fill it full of arrows because Sony's had some pretty amazing success over the years. And it's easy to overlook that it's been, I think, the fastest selling PlayStation console. I think it's human nature to want to take down the guy on top."
Strong words. Is the press holding the PlayStation 3 up to an unrealistic standard out of a desire to watch success turn into failure, or are the PS3 problems reported by the media due to, well, accurate reporting of actual problems with the console?
Either way, you can read more interesting quotes at the link below.

I love all three of the systems, but sometimes it does seem that PS3 has a target on it, more than the 360 and Wii at least.
WHAT???????????????????
And by the way, it doesn't matter who's "on top" what matters is, you the consumer and gamer is happy with whatever choice(s) you make.
Nintendo won't be "on top" until it can put out a system comparable to this gen's graphics. They are just rivaling the PS2, and not the others. Heck, the PS2 outsold the Wii last christmas, yet again, you don't hear of that.
save yer pennies...
buy all three...
stfu...
this is the internet not the spelling and grammar bee
I think CEO Ted Price hits it right on the money. It is American tradition to root for the underdog and Nintendo was definitely seen as the David to Sony's Goliath. Yet the tables have turned, Nintendo is capturing a different audience and doing better than anyone expected. Sony isn't down for the count, but we will have to see if they can recover the slower than expected sales in the past few months.

The only thing wrong w/ the PS3 is the fact that they don't have much games...which will change in time...hopefully they learn from this experience and get a strong 1st party.
@Shawnw92...I know the wriststrap fixed it but when it came out...that's all the bs i heard
