'Ninja Warrior' Looking For New Blood

Between July 2nd and July 29th, G4 will be conducting a nationwide search for a contestant to fly to Japan in an attempt to become Ninja Warrior. Contestants are encouraged to send a video to the Ninja Warrior website, proving their athletic prowess, in an effort to become a semi-finalist online.

After those semi-finalists are chosen, you will have the opportunity to vote on the three best, who will come to G4 and  endure a rigorous series of challenges on Attack Of The Show, after which the best Warrior will be chosen to fly to Japan and compete on the show. Not only that, but their attempt to become ninja will be documented in a one-hour special to be aired on the network in the Fall.

It's a pretty rad prize package. We couldn't be more excited about the idea of seeing you guys try your best to ascend to the top of Mt. Midoriyama. Try! Do!

UPDATE: We'll be taking applications begining on Monday, July 2.

I care, and I like the show. Go hide in a hole, sdc10, and keep your negative crap off the site. If you don't like the show, DON'T WATCH IT AND SHUT THE $%^* UP.

Now, let's all stop caring about sdc10, because he sucks.

Actually, got to agree with sdc10. Now, Luna_Saisho, I *would* not watch this show, but it's on about 8 times a day!!!

For anyone that hasn't seen it: Think the show MXC (most extreme elimination challenge) without the humor.

I still find it a fun show to watch, especially with friends. Would I call it the best of TV? Naw. A fun thing to have on my ReplayTV when I run out of other stuff to watch? Definitely.

I'm more about the Internet's constant need to bash and insult stuff. I know it'll never stop, but I can always hope...

I Loooooooooooooove this show and so do all my friends. I'm so happy that they have such a bad ass show on American television.

BTW, you can just go ahead and quit now because I've been traning for Ninja Warrior from the first episode aired. I was hooked, that and I rule.

I haven't seen this show.

I do know what makes MXC funny though.It's the commentary!

I thought the addicts vs (can't remember) was hillarious.

Ninja Warrior is awesome! MXC got a little boring after awhile and I'm sure Ninja Warrior will too but for now its all good.

Sorry to bust anyones bobbles some of you may have been training since the first episode, but me an my Bro Are real ninjas an we've been training all our lives and when we get on the show either through this contest or the other way that i know of, just remember to look for two American ninjas dresses as ninjas that are going to dominate the course. (he throws a smoke bomb and vanishes without a traces)

Anybody who thinks Ninja Warrior sucks, they suck...Yeah Ninja Warrior is one of the best shows on G4 (If not the best)and idk if you think just the show sucks, or ninjas suck altogether, but if you do...here are some instructions for you: 1.Climb to the top of the 'Stupid Tree'. 2.Jump off and hit all the branches on the way down. 3.Get attacked by a ninja. 4.Die! (5.if not dead) Dig a hole, im sure somebody would gladly fill it in. (6.)Stop coming to the freaking Ninja Warrior Comment board you idiot(s)!!

I'm so happy that people are trying to get on this show. I've discovered it a bit and have been training for it. I just found this site so i'm too late for the contest. but does anyone know how to sign up for the show on your own. I've been looking heaps but cant find anything. I would love some help

Don't be talkin' s*%# about Ninja Warrior! This is the best damn show in the galaxy! All these guys work their balls off so we can have something so great to be obsessed about. And just so you know, I'm a woman-this show is not just for guys! Now I know a lot of you fans are rooting for Nagano (he is great) But I'm a total freak for Shingo Yamamoto! He's been in every competition and he's frikkin' awesome. I believe one of these days he'll beat the final stage! Go Shingo! (Shintoism? Shingoism! I worship at your gas station!)
