XMC Cable Will Allow HDMI on non-Elite 360's

The company XMC, which specializes in replacement console cases and cables, is claiming that they have figured out a way to enable HDMI on the old & busted Core & Premium Xbox 360's. They plan to release a special cable that will make early 360 Elite adopters really angry.

If this is true and you've got an HDMI-enabled HDTV, be sure to pick one of these up as it will allow for true 1080p. This is, of course, if XMC's claims are true. We assume it involves sorcery and gnomes.

TheFeed is really excited about this, but we are scared it will void our warranties and blow up our old Xbox's.

For an Elite owner to get angry is retarded. I personally like having a system with the least amount of add ons as possible - I love the convienience of the Black box. Besides an Elite owner is not paying $180 just for HDMI they also have a but ton of storage from the new hard drive.

I GUESS THIS IS BETTER THAN NOTHING ! I CAN'T FIND A FREAKIN' ELITE ANYWHERES! If anybody can direct me to an Xbox Elite ? It will be greatly appreciated.

What does this thing do? Just convert the component to HDMI? How's the picture quality? I wouldn't buy one of these without knowing those answers.

I checked a lot of sites and they said they didnt have one yet i know the best buy near me has like 5 just sitting there. i say go around and try places like Best Buy , EB, Game Crazy , WalMart, Toys R Us ,FYE OR call 1-800-4-MYXBOX and ask them.

I truly doubt that this is legit. You can't convert Component video to a 1080p signal. Component is an analog signal and can't go beyond 720p/1080i. I can only imagine this working if the kit is installed directly on motherboard and that would coid the warrenty.

In "MY" opinion, the 360 is better PS3 cuz it has better games. I would like the PS3 a lot more if I could actually do something with it. I dont know what you guys are talking about but I love the rumble, specially on FPS.
