Link is just an extraordinary little fellow. He can make the mundane task of running errands into a grand adventure. Take Chimp Media’s spoof Legend of Zelda flash game for example.
Zelda Lamp Shade embarks Link on his latest quest: Obtain a lamp shade and put it where it belongs. The game features cameos from familiar video game faces-from Devil May Cry’s Dante to Metal Gear’s Solid Snake. Don’t expect to run into other Zelda characters in the game, as well as using Link’s trusty master sword. You progress through the game by running errands (most of them are straight-up odd and hilarious) given by various NPCs.
For example, a knight blocking a path asks Link to get him some grub from a nearby McDonalds. The moment you step in the fast food joint, you find out that they’ve run out of meat (WTF?). The game then leads you on in finding the next item and have you wandering around the town of "Hyscule".
We find ourselves constantly laughing while playing the game. Give it a shot and eventually you’ll find what those McDonald meat patties are really made out of…
