Apple has released the latest MacBook Pros to the masses and these guys may look lean, but boy are they beefy!
Using the new Santa Rosa chipset, the MacBook Pros come with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, up to 4GB of memory and high-speed graphics in an aluminum enclosure that is just one-inch thin. Available as either a 15-inch model with a new LED-backlit display or a 17-inch with an optional high-resolution display, they both include a built-in iSight video camera, Apple’s MagSafe Power Adapter and built-in 802.11n wireless networking.
The MacBook Pro comes pre-loaded with iLife ‘06, featuring iPhoto, iMovie HD, iDVD, GarageBand and iWeb. It also comes with the Mac OS X version of Tiger, 10.4.9, which includes Safari, Mail, iCal, iChat AV, Front Row and Photo Booth.
