YouTube is coming to your living room via Apple TV.
You know what looks great on your widescreen television? A guy getting kicked in the balls. Or maybe a kid pulling his tooth out by tying a string to a baseball which he hits across his lawn. Or a bunch of frat boys dropping very large water balloons from their dorm windows.
Now you'll be able to watch all your favorite viral videos on your huge TV and not on your tiny computer monitor.
Just announced today by Steve Jobs, da 'Tube will be available beginning in mid-June. At first, only a few thousand of YouTube's most popular videos available. However, YouTube will continue to encode and add videos until their entire library is available in the fall.
At the same press conference, Jobs also proclamed that a 160GB Apple TV unit will be available for $399. Currently, the 40GB model costs $299.
Pretty neeto, eh? Ooooh, ghost riding the whip never looked so good.
