They say there's no such thing as a free lunch, but our years of street-corner begging say differently. There's also such thing as a free videogame, at least if you're a 360 owners: Microsoft is giving away Aegis Wing, a 2-D side-scrolling space shooter with 4-person multi-player that combines epic space combat with impressive visuals and is a symphonic soundtrack.
According to Microsoft, Aegis Wing was "conceived by three students – Scott Brodie, Danny Dyer and Matt Monson – during a summer internship at Xbox LIVE Arcade. The students worked in tandem with Carbonated Games – the creators of fan-favorite, UNO – to bring the game to the Xbox LIVE Arcade community."
The full version of “Aegis Wing” is being released on Xbox LIVE Arcade free of charge and will be available Wednesday, May 16 "for a limited time."
So go get it. It's free, baby.
