TheFeed can't help but like and admire Rosie O'Donnell. There's something otherworldly about the combination of her lesbian-next-door persona and her weird conspiracy theory ranting on The View that makes her one of the most compelling famous people we can think of. Plus, have you seen My Sister Rides The Bus? It's awesome.
Rosie isn't content with dominating television, however. The Queen Of Nice is moving into videogames, and no, it's not a first person shooter or World of Rosiecraft. O'Donnell has teamed up with EA and will be sponsoring contests on casual game site Pogo.com. The contests ultimately benefit O'Donnell's charity, The Rosie's For All Kids Foundation
Interested parties (like me) can enter the “Play & Chat with Rosie Sweepstakes” where anyone who plays “Tumble Bees” between May 17th and May 23rd will automatically be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win an opportunity to play and chat live with Rosie O’Donnell during the month of June.
“I played a lot of videogames as a kid and now I am an avid Club Pogo member and have been for quite awhile," Rosie said. "I play Word Whomp, Tumble Bees, Poppit! Squelchies, Qwerty, and World Class Solitaire – I like to mix it up. I’m online almost every night! It is a great way to relax and stay in touch with people out of state. There is a grandmother in Kansas that I play with … she has no idea who I am. We talk for hours about her grandkids and her latest projects. I love it!”
I am going to enter that contest, win it, then totally pwn Rosie O'Donnell at Tumble Bees. I'll be all, "I crushed you like Elizabeth Hasselback crushes you on The View! I am the m*therf***ing king of Tumble Bees!" Then we'll talk about my grandkids and latest projects.
