Alt-metal overlords Drowning Pool, in collaboration with the USO, launched a free download and Internet video campaign this week featuring their new song “Soldiers.”
The tune was written for the troops after returning from an overseas USO tour, and can be downloaded for free through the USO’s MySpace page. In addition, the new Internet video, featuring exclusive live footage of the band’s USO performances in Iraq and Kuwait, can be viewed on Drowning Pool’s MySpace page.
That's all fine, but I still ain't goin' to Iraq!!! There's just no way to make that seem cool to me...you know, dyin' and all..
