'30 Rock' Gets A Second Season Pickup

Posted April 6, 2007 - By Mike D'Alonzo

Despite not-so-good ratings over its first season, NBC has given 30 Rock a go for a second season. The critically acclaimed show is being given a chance to gain an audience, and will remain, at least for now, on the Thursday night lineup. The show is being given a full 22-episode slate for next season.

Meanwhile, no decision has been made yet on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Though there are six unfinished episodes that NBC says they will air, they claim not to have yet made a decision on whether or not they will renew the show for a second season. It doesn't look good, but stranger things have happened.
