Michael Eisner, former head of Disney, is producing a series for MySpace called Prom Queen. It will be a series of 90-second bits that add up to a mystery. There are already 80 (!) episodes slated for air daily, beginning on April 2nd. Each character in the show will have their own MySpace page, so if you're into one or another, you can add them as a friend and get the scoop on what's going on with their 'lives.'
This is the first original program for the social networking site, and Eisner is a heavy hitter with lots of money, so it looks like it might be a good one. There are plans for many such series, but it might depend on the success or failure of Prom Queen to see for sure. Either way, be there on April 2nd to see the future of the internet...or not.
