Nintendo Trying To Meet Wii Demand

Posted March 30, 2007 - By Eugene Morton

It’s been awfully hard to find a Wii. Some people believe it’s because Nintendo’s been hoarding them to drive already high demand through the roof. It’s a lot like that episode of South Park where Cartman bought that theme park that he wouldn’t let anyone visit and it turned out to be a smashing financial success.

Supply side economic speculation is great, but if you were holding to that "Nintendo is hoarding" theory, it’s probably time to let it go. The company has finally come to its senses and is searching for partners outside of the sole Wii manufacturer, Foxconn Precision Components.

Soon, Wiis should become more abundant than stupid people.
