Remember the other day, when TheFeed posted the story that Tom Cruise had signed off on Bryan Singer's new film, as the head of United Artists? Well, turns out the motivation behind him greenlighting that film was more than just the urge to see a good filmmaker get something done. No, it turns out that Tommy's going to be starring in the thing, a WWII film about a group of German generals who decide to try and assassinate Hitler.
The allegedly bats**t Cruise apparently wasn't going to do it, until his studio bought the project, and then he saw the light. Hopefully, there won't be any sort of Xenu action rearing its ugly head in 1940's Germany.
