Looking to add some bling to that ring?

AMD is hoping that those of you that love your Xbox 360 will no doubt be in love with their latest endeavor, handheld devices utilizing the company's next-generation mobile graphics technologies.

Stepping up the game, no pun intended, AMD has already made available a developer's toolkit, which includes support for both OpenVG 1.0 and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics standards and also incorporates the same Unified Shader Architecture that runs in your Xbox 360.

While there is no word on which devices will be including the AMD processor, they are "purportedly working with content developers now in preparation for the arrival of phones powered by the forthcoming set, and should be made available to handset manufacturers through discrete media processors as well as through IP licensing agreements with semiconductor suppliers."

Long story short....move over PSP and DS 'cause there could be a new system on the block in the very near future.
