Dr. Ruth Westheimer is famous for encouraging all kinds of sexual openess, her adorable accent and her "lighten up, it's just sex!" attitude, but it turns out the wee hedonist was a frickin' sniper in an underground Israeli military group!
At 16, after her parents were killed in the holocaust, Dr. Ruth joined militant organization Haganah and trained as a lookout and sniper. She was also handy with a grenade. She says she never killed anyone, but she could have, easily.
"Even today I can load a Sten automatic rifle in a single minute, blindfolded," Dr. Ruth said.
