LucasArts is suing popular news aggregation site Digg.com over the patent for their name. The suit comes because LucasArts developed a game called 'The Dig' about a century ago. Even though the site has an extra 'g,' they're still suing. TheFeed isn't sure what the motivation behind this lawsuit might be, but it doesn't seem to hold a whole lot of water.
Do they think that you might go to the website and think, 'I wonder if this is a support site for the ancient LucasArts game, The Dig?' It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and it doesn't go very far toward removing the idea that Lucas is a megalomaniac with a control problem.
