Redman Going Wild

Posted February 23, 2007 - By Frank Meyer

Redman's long awaited new album, Red Gone Wild, will finally be released March 27 through his long-time label Def Jam. The first single is called "Put It Down" and was produced by Timbaland. A likely-hilarious video is on the way too.

The album also features beats from mega-producer Scott Storch and Rockwilder, and guest turns from Eminem, Def Squad partners Keith Murray and Erick Sermon, Wu Tang’s Method Man, crooner Nate Dogg, and wacky rap vet Biz Markie.

In the meantime, fans have been kept satified from his two volume set of Ill at Will mixtape, and a brand new one, From The Bricks.

Redman is expected to perform at the South by Southwest festival next month in Austin, Texas. And you know that means…Austin is about to get HIGH!!!!!
