Queens Of The Stone Age Enter New Era

Posted February 16, 2007 - By Frank Meyer

Stoner metal kingpins Queens Of The Stone Age are working on their new album, with a June release date through Interscope in mind.

Frontman Josh Homme has described the new album as "dark, hard, and electrical, sort of like a construction worker."

The effort is tentatively titled Era Vulgaris, and song titles include "Into the Hollow," "Misfit Love," "Battery Acid" and "Sick, Sick, Sick."

"Could be song titles, or could not," a post on their website says. "Go sign up on the mailing list for future insider info. Then get off the Internet and go get laid -- its Valentine's Day."

So...er, in essence…we know nothing.
