Nintendo Offers New Wii Channel

Posted February 14, 2007 - By Stephen Johnson

Nintendo dropped a Valentine's day gift on Wii owners this morning: A brand new channel. The vaguely authoritative sounding "Everbody Votes" channel allows users to vote on various Nintendo-created questions and aggregates the results.

You register individual Miis and weigh in on important issues like: "Do you prefer cats or dogs?" then you can check to see what percentage of other Wii users agree with you. You will almost certainly learn that your views and opinions are shared by many, many people and you are not as special and unique as you had previously believed. You can also predict the results of the poll, trying to anticipate the views of the mass herd of ordinary people.

The results are split into both your country's opinion and worldwide opinions, so how average you actually are will become abundantly clear.

If you're at work like we are, and can't check it out yourself, at least enjoy the following video walkthough.
