Matt Groening never, ever needs to work again. Eight hundred seasons of The Simpsons has seen to that. Still, the man is a little upset over the cancellation of Futurama. (And who wouldn't be, considering it is, on ever level, vastly superior to The Family Guy) So, he's probably pretty stoked that 20th Television has contracted him and his staff to make four straight-to-DVD full-length Futurama videos.
And you should be stoked, too. Because Comedy Central has won the bid to carve these films into episodic pieces and air them as new episodes of the series, which, it should be noted again, is VASTLY superior to The Family Guy. Don't even get me started on American Dad.
