Sweden, as a county, has gone virtual. The land of meatballs and hot blondes has decided to set up an embassy on Second Life, with news about the country and the people who live in it. Then, I assume, you will be able to visit virtual Sweden, and enjoy all of the digital joy of the fake old country.
This is going to be great. Soon, perhaps, Switzerland and The Netherlands will follow suit, and we'll be able to set up eScandanavia. If they develop VR technology, you might actually be able to feel the cold, smell the herring, and touch a long-dead Hans Christian Andersen. Or, and this is just a thought, you could actually go to these places and learn something for real. Like how to experience things in real life.
