Alright…even though it ain’t official and the band’s hasn’t acctually announced it yet, everyone and their mother is reporting that the long-awaited Van Halen sorta-reunion tour is on. I say "sorta" because bassist Michael Anthony is likely not on board, with Eddie Van Halen’s 15-year-old son Wolfgang replacing him. But the band is reportedly gonna kick off a 40-date summer tour in late-April with a Las Vegas date at The Palms, with west coast dates in June, and Roth back in front of brothers Eddie and Alex.
The band will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in New York on March 12 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, though no word yet as to whether this will be the unveiling of the new/old lineup, or whether Anthony or one-time vocalist Sammy Hagar will be involved in any way (besides sitting in their seat murmuring “Those bastards” under their breath.)
Remember, this ain’t official yet, but it's lookin’ damn good…damn good…
