Eddie Murphy had best be careful. Yes, Dreamgirls was a nice jolt to his sagging career, but Eddie's never been too good at selecting projects, which is why he got a sag in the first place. To whit, Eddit's Norbit is opening, followed by a film called Starship Dave, in which he plays host to a group of aliens, and now word comes that he's signed on to star in NowhereLand, which is the story of an executive who's lost his confidence, and finds it in his daughter's imaginary land.
Again, Eddie had best be careful. It would be very easy to imagine a world in which, a year from now, Murphy has lost all of the credibility he'd built up, and is back to doing Nutty Professor sequels. Ugh.
